The 4 Beach Cities Program, Work 4 Higher (W4H), surfs the wave of work based learning and its importance in terms of its offerings to schools, students, communities and businesses.  Our program addresses the needs to bridge the gap between the two that has many students and schools eager to participate.

Through our youth camp, opened in 2004, our trainings and internships have mentored over 3,000 work based learning program participants.  Participation has positively affected work habits, social skills, attendance, homework completion, and class participation.  Many of our participants have also seen an increase in their grade point average.
